IBC is always one of the most useful points in the year to catch up with customers, partners and the wider industry, and the Cerberus Tech team will be back in Amsterdam this September. We’ll be there throughout the show, with plenty happening around IBC week and plenty to talk about when it comes to Livelink and the changing demands of live contribution, production and distribution.
A lot has changed within Livelink over the past year. As the platform has grown, much of our focus has been on giving operators greater visibility and control across their workflows, while continuing to make increasingly complex operations easier to deploy and manage. That includes improvements to monitoring and historical performance data, the continued development of inSight dashboards, greater integration between cloud and edge infrastructure through Gateway, and a significant amount of work on the underlying platform itself. For us, that is part of a broader conversation about where live workflows are heading. As the boundaries between contribution, production and distribution continue to become less distinct, there is an opportunity to think differently about how the whole chain is built and operated, rather than treating each stage as a separate technical problem.
Where does the signal go next?
That wider question will be part of the discussion at Where Does the Signal Go Next?, The Hive Group’s IBC event which Cerberus Tech is sponsoring this year. The session will bring together people from across the industry to look at how live content moves from source to screen, and how that journey is changing as traditional infrastructure, IP, cloud and newer distribution models increasingly overlap.
We’ll also be at the SVG Europe Summit ahead of IBC, before spending the rest of the week at the show itself. Both should provide plenty of opportunities for the kind of practical conversations we value about what organisations are doing today, what is changing and where technology can genuinely make live operations simpler.
